Should the doors to toilets for disabled people be locked?
There is currently a debate in the toilet community about whether the doors to toilets for disabled people should be locked. Some are locked and need a special key such as a RADAR key. These are for sale from a number of outlets at a cost of a few pounds.
I would be very interested to hear your views, particularly if you need to use toilets for disabled people.
Unfortunately, I have had to use the disabled toilets recently, and I have found that the general cleanliness status is "bad."
But also noticed that those that were locked were better off than the open ones.
What ever happened to those self cleaning toilets that were brought in in the 80s? I would be willing to pay for that.... Maybe make them by subscription to cover the upkeep.
