Age-Friendly High Streets in London

Older Londoners value and use their local high streets but they are not as age-friendly as they should be. One of the priorities of the London Recovery Board is “High Streets for all “ and PAiL is campaigning that age-friendly high streets should be promoted and implemented in London. Its report  Its new report titled ‘Unleashing the grey pound – older consumers’ contribution to High Street revival’https://pailondon.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/High-Street-briefingFINAL23Sept.pdf makes the case that the contribution of older people needs more attention particularly as consumers. PAil is continuing to lobby London Boroughs, the GLA, and opinion formers across London that age-friendly high streets must be a priority for London’s recovery.
